My dad committed suicide in 1999. He was abusive so my mum left him and he killed himself purposefully 5 days before my sisters birthday. He was nice sometimes as well. He would take us to the park and lots of other things. I have more good memories that take over the bad and I loved him more than life itself and just because what he done took him away from his family and hurt us all doesn't mean I love him any less.

I didn't know you when you were alive. Karen has kept all your memories so alive with life and love. She is so sweet and caring. She loves and misses you so much. You would be so proud. My name is Colin Cobb and i used to race radio controlled cars against your dad about 25 years ago. I knew him for a couple of years. racing up at the valley leisure centre in glengormley.
He was full of advise regarding how to make your car work better.
As far as i remember he won nearly every race.
Im was very shocked to here about what happened to him and i feel very sorry for your loss.
There would never have been a race car club in northern ireland if it wasnt for your dad. I dont think there has been one since.
i was only 13 when i knew your dad and he is forever part of my growing up and being a real geek on all things about model cars.
